VOLUNTEER YOUR SKILLS
_________________

Our "To Do" list is getting longer and we're falling behind.

Well, not "we", it's me.

Apparently my doing this full time just isn't enough.

I have a bunch of content, already on the internet, which deserves to be given a permanent home and linked into a series of articles. The content needs a much improved presentation than they currently have.

You can use current template design, or develop your own design.

I am using FrontPage and Expression Web, so I ask for compatible skill with either of those programs.

Your name will appear on every page as "Graphic Design / Layout by <your name>" and a link to your page of choice.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering your time and skill to assist the 503d PRCT Heritage Bn.

We have numerous WWII Heritage images scanned from old photographs, many of which have not survived the rigors of indifferent WWII processing, time and handling. We would like to display these images in the best digital form available, as soon as we can - but our "In-Basket" is already overflowing.   If you think you're good at Photoshop*, take our challenge. Even if you're not so hot, and could do with some practice, there's still room for you.  We'll supply scans, and you can send us your output - what could be more simple? Write me

If you have any form of digital or internet talent - we'd love to hear from you. We have in mind:

(a)  a database program which can accumulate all the information known about individual 503d PRCT troopers and be searchable by web users;

(b) a Flash Welcome Page, which will operate a searchlight beam guided by the user's mouse,  highlighting each aspect of the site;

* or any lesser program. This website has been built on the obsolete Microsoft Image Composer.
